Students say they don’t like to read because reading is boring, complicated, has difficult vocabulary, and has too many hard questions. I don’t have a magic wand, but I do have some inside/outside the box techniques, that just might substitute.

Nancy has her doctorate from Rutgers and is a certified NJ reading teacher and specialist besides being a certified ESL instructor. She is a full professor in ESL at HCCC.She has been a presenter at NJTESOL/NJBE for about 20 years.
